Rebecca Kaps

Rebecca is an associate at the TRM Cape Town office and was admitted as an attorney in December 2025. She obtained her Bachelor's in Accounting while simultaneously completing her Bachelor of Laws over a five-year period at Stellenbosch University.

Towards the end of her studies, she developed a keen interest in taxation and was particularly drawn to the overlap between the accounting and legal spheres. Since joining the practice, she has continued to build her expertise in tax and remains motivated by the technical and strategic nature of the field.

Rebecca is also a dedicated hockey player. She has represented South Africa during her hockey career and now enjoys representing her province and club team.
