Karlie completed her BCom Law and LLB degrees at the University of Pretoria, with accounting and taxation as her electives, laying a strong foundation in both the legal and financial aspects of tax practice. While completing her articles, she commenced her LLM in Tax Law, focusing on small-scale farming operations, with a particular interest in the practical and compliance challenges faced within the agricultural sector.

Her keen interest in both finance and law naturally drew her to the field of taxation, where she continues to develop her technical expertise. She is committed to expanding her knowledge within this specialist field.
